Northern Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Society Championship Show Special Award Classes.

My sincere thanks to the society for the invitation to judge at this show & to the majority of exhibitors who accepted my decisions in a sporting manner.

Puppy (8,1)
1. Sweetbriar Sorbet. Very pretty Blenheim girl of 7 months. Correct ear placement, large dark round eyes, shallow stop & nicely tapered muzzle. Moderate neck, well laid shoulders and level topline. She moved around the ring with grace and confidence.
2. Jernito Minnie Magic. Tri boy. Although heavier marked than desired he is very balanced with moderate bone. Good reach of neck slightly arched, well sprung rib for age and level topline. Nice turn of stifle and well let down hocks.

Graduate (7,2)
1. Granasil Von Trap JW. Won this class on movement and showmanship. B/T. Large, round dark eyes and pigment framed by well feathered ears. Good spring of rib. Nicely muscled rear which enabled him to move with drive. Well presented.
2. Carolus Miss Elizabeth. Young Blenheim bitch. Nice head, well placed ears and dark round eyes. Good size & shape in profile. Level topline. Just preferred confidence of 1.

Open (5,1)
1. Chantismere Chamberlin. 3 year old well broken Blenheim. Broad skull almost flat between ears, shallow stop & correct length of muzzle. Short coupled, level topline & nicely angulated rear. Good muscle tone. Moved well once settled.
2. Granasil Golden Nugget. 3 & ½ year old ruby. Broad skull, dark round eyes spaced correctly. Moderate chest & well laid shoulders. Strong level topline. Neat compact feet. Moved well.
