I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge their show and for the hospitality given to my wife and I. It was a lovely entry and I would like to thank all the exhibitors who entered under me.   I really enjoyed my day and was impressed with the quality of the dogs. I was spoilt for choice in some classes.

Veteran Entry 7/3

1st Mr & Mrs G Inglis’s CH. Craigowl Billy Elliot. Tricolour dog, 8 years old with a very pretty head, large round eyes and good pigment. He was at his best on the move, perfect topline and tail and lovely smooth movement. I was pleased, with the agreement of my co-judge, to award him Best Veteran In Show.
2nd Audrie P Stokes’s Hold That Dream for Scouriemore. 7 year old Blenheim dog. Very nice type with good angulation and pleasant outline. Good head with nice earset and dark eyes and moved well.

Vintage Entry 4/1

1st Mrs V E Oakley’s Brasingamen The Celt. 12 year old B&T. Nice shape with good angulation and looked good on the move. Gentle head with good eyes and pigment, well set ears and good reach of neck.
2nd Mr A & Mrs J Beatie’s Norcrest Red Diamond. Another 12 year old this time a Blen.. Nicely marked with good shape and angulation.  Looked good on the move.
3rd Mr N Lunam’s Nustoal Red Baron

Minor Puppy Entry 20/5

1st Mr & Mrs Bryant’s Cobbets Frankly Frankie. 8 month old heavily marked Blen. Very special puppy with a delightful head, having lovely eyes, good teeth and pigment. Super shape and correct angulaton and a real delight on the move. Displayed great maturity showing and moving. Was a pleasure to judge.
2nd Mrs H Waters’s Maibee McVitie. Nearly 9 month old quality Tri. Very pretty head with lovely eyes and pigment, good earset and excellent reach of neck. Nice size and shape with correct angulation so I was not surprised that he moved so well.
3rd Mrs E G Glen’s Homerbrent Bright Star

Puppy Entry 12/1

1st Miss Elaine McInally’s Dalvreck Dream On at Braemarrad. 9 month old Blen dog with so many things going for him. His head was a picture, soft expression with large round dark eyes and good pigment, excellent earset and good neck and shoulder. Very elegant shape with correct angulation and was so smooth on the move. I was pleased to award him BPD and the referee BPIS.
2nd Miss L Koster’s Harana Alfie Boe. 10 month old B&T. Another cracking puppy with so many good things about him. Really lovely head with everything just right. Nice shape and size with good neck and angulation. Very good on the move.  Was unlucky to meet 1 on the day.

Junior Entry 14/4

1st Mrs H Waters’s Lanola Siesta of Maibee. Blen dog 16 months old. Very nice shaped young dog with correct angulation and nice topline and tailset. Pretty head with excellent pigment, large dark eyes and good earset.
2nd Mrs L Hughes’s Stonepit Heaven Sent to Loranka. 9 month old Blen dog.  Nicely marked dog with a correct head and good pigment. Smooth and elegant on the move.

Yearling Entry 9/1

1st Mr P F Lovel’s Lovetrac Markofdistinction. Blen dog 17 month old. Heavily marked with the right construction and shape to make him a real picture on the move. Such a lovely head, sweet expression with nice earset, pigment and teeth.
2nd Mrs J Hazeltine’s Juzandia Johnny Be Goode. 23 month old Blen dog. This dog is just the right shape with good reach of neck, correct angulation and nice tailset. Very pretty in the head with good pigment.
3rd Mrs S Mangham’s Garlouchi Just Magic of Charnavale

Novice Entry 5/1

1st Messers Aldous R/ Smith M’s Aranel Genesis. Blen dog 13 months old. Young dog with the prettiest of heads and a lovely shape. Just right for size with good bone and compact body. Moved very soundly keeping a good tail carriage.

Graduate Entry 8/0

1st Mrs S & Miss R J Dawber’s Bevelmount Montecarlo at Simanbeck. 2 year old blen. All round excellent dog with a handsome head and good pigment, correct muzzle and correct earset. Nice size and shape and moved very soundly.
2nd Messers Levy/Sedgwick/Cline’s Pascavale Kai. Blen dog, 22 months old. Exceptional head on this dog with large round dark eyes and nice earset. Good front and rear angulation, nice outline and moved well.
3rd Mrs Jill Allitt’s Tillashby Georgio

Post Graduate Entry 16/1

1st Mrs H Parker’s Jordanic Entrepreneur.Richly coloured Blen dog, nearly 3 years old. This boy is a lovely shape and has correct construction so I was not surprised he was the best mover in the class. He has a very attractive head with lovely eyes.
2nd Ken Town’s Poundroll Montie Carlo at Barsac. Nice size Tri dog just over 2 years old. I really liked his head. Such a pretty expression framed by well set ears. Moved soundly.

Limit Entry 12/1

1st Messers Aldous R/ Smith M’s Aranel Maveric. Just over 2 year old blen. All the nice things about Cavaliers in one dog. Super shape with good angulation and moved smoothly around the ring keeping a lovely topline. Exceptional head with large dark eyes and good pigment I was please to award this dog the RCC and with the approval of my co judge RBIS.
2nd Messers Levy/Sedgwick/Cline’s Pascavale Bailey. Nicely marked blen, nearly three years old. This dog pushed 1 hard for the award and many of the same comments apply. Nice compact boy of the correct size. Just preferred the expression of one above.
3rd Mrs J Hazeltine’s Juzandia Likely Lad

Special Open B&T Entry 7/0

1st Mrs L J Gamble’s Loranka's Stardom.  Super 6 year old boy in lovely condition with long silky coat and profuse feathering. Really nice head with soft expression and rich tan.  Nicely made with good shape and angulation so moved well as expected.
2nd P & I Rogerson’s Rabymar Untouchable J.W. Sh Cm. Nice size  4 year old dog. A different head to winner with a shorter face but still very pleasant. Nice construction and movement but with a slightly wayward coat.

1st Mrs J Boardman’s Cinderlace Mulligatawny by Volney  J.W. Nearly 3 years old. Larger dog with profuse coat of rich ruby colouring. . Pleasing head with nice earset and large dark eyes. Good construction and moved smoothly keeping a good topline.
2nd Mrs B A Finney’s Anberan Pumpkin Spice at Sylklands. 4 years old. Very good topline and tail and super on the move I just preferred the head on 1.
3rd Mr N Lunam Tingewwod Red Oktober

Special Open Blen Entry 5/2

1st   Mr K M & Mrs C C Li’s Avalcier Oberon. Three and a half year old. Very soft expression on a correct head with large round eyes and good pigment. Super coat and feathering beautifully groomed that looked lovely when he was on the move. Well constructed and moved with confidence.
2nd Mrs P Rayner’s Trirayne Kasheera. Nearly 2 year old. Pretty head on this dog with well set ears, large round eyes and good teeth and pigment.
3rd Miss C Kilcoyne’s Ladash Voyger

1st Mrs L Hughes’s Loranka's Moment In Time. 2 years old. Flashily marked well broken tri with a very pleasant head, good pigment and large eyes. In full coat. Tan in all the right places. Nicely made and moved well.
2nd S A & M T Mynott’s Honeybet Magic Touch. Nearly 3 years old. Tidy little tri dog with well broken markings and a pretty head. Nice size eyes and  good pigment with correct earset. Short in the body and well angulated front and rear. . Looked good on the move.

1st Mrs E Renaud’s Ellenaud Lord Of The Rings. 3 year old Tri.  Pretty headed tri dog who is a nice size and shape. Good angulation and very tidy on the move.

1st Mrs H Waters’s CH. Maibee Make Believe. Blen dog 3 years old. Best dog on the day! Excellent body shape and correct angulation both ends. Moved with style and confidence and was a real picture going round the ring, keeping an excellent topline and tail carriage. Lovely soft expression with large round dark eyes, good pigment and correct earset. I was delighted to award this dog the CC and with the agreement of my co judge BIS.
2nd Mrs L Hughes’s CH. Loranka's Just Like Heaven JW. Four and a half year old blen. Very nice dog in all respects with correct body shape, size and angulation. Profuse coat.  Very pretty head with good pigment, large dark eyes and nice expression. Moved well around the ring.
3rd Mrs & Miss C & L Tarabad’s Khatibi Nick Is In A Twist
